Citizen Kane is back in theaters today for its 85th anniversary. Fathom Events is running it July 5 and July 8 at AMC, Regal, and Cinemark locations nationwide. This screening includes exclusive commentary from film critic Leonard Maltin.

This is the film that changed everything. Deep focus photography. Nonlinear storytelling. The use of sound and shadow as character. Every director who came after Orson Welles learned from this.
