Minions and Monsters is in theaters now. It holds a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, the best in franchise history. The seventh film in the Despicable Me series.

Why it matters: Trey Parker, Christoph Waltz, Allison Janney, and Jeff Bridges are in the voice cast. That is not how you cast a film you do not believe in. Pierre Coffin directed and voices the Minions, as he has since 2010.

Who should see it: If you have been avoiding this franchise since Despicable Me 3, this is the one critics say got it right. Bring the kids. The adults will be fine.
