Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey opens July 17 from Universal. Early showings start July 16.

Nolan shot the whole thing on IMAX 70mm film. No feature film has ever been made entirely that way before. He filmed across six countries over 91 days. Matt Damon plays Odysseus. Anne Hathaway is Penelope. Tom Holland is Telemachus. Zendaya is Athena. Charlize Theron is Calypso. The budget was $250 million. Nolan described it as the largest and most challenging production of his career.

If you are going to see one film this summer in a theater, see it in IMAX. It will not look the same anywhere else.
