Scary Movie is in theaters now. The original crew is back together for the first time since 2001: Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall.

The Wayans brothers wrote the first two films and spent the next 25 years away from the franchise. This one, directed by Michael Tiddes, is what Marlon calls a "rebooquel."

Critics gave it 23 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The film made $205 million worldwide on a $30 million budget.

If you grew up with these characters, this one is for you. It does not pretend to be anything else.
