The Eyes opened in US theaters today. It is a Korean horror film about a photographer who starts losing her sight while investigating her twin sister's death. Shin Min-a plays both sisters.
The film has been in Korean theaters since June and just crossed one million admissions. The second week outperformed the first. People are telling their friends. It is a remake of Julia's Eyes, a 2010 Spanish thriller Guillermo del Toro produced.
If Korean horror does anything for you, you are already going. This is Shin Min-a's first film in three years. Korean audiences gave it an 8.8 out of 10.
